How long does it last?

With waxing you can get up to 3 to 4 weeks of hairlessness. The more regularly you wax, the better your results will be. For best results wax every 4 to 6 weeks and doing the rest in my day and I will not shave or trim between waxes.

Do you use hard or soft wax?

FAB Wax uses high quality soft Italian cream wax with muslin cloth strips. With our expert technique it’s less painful and has better results than hard wax.

Do you accept walk-ins?

No. Services are by appointment only.

What can I do to prepare for my wax?

-Stop shaving for at least 2 weeks. 3 to 4 weeks of hair growth is recommended for best results.

-Avoid caffeine up to 5 hours before your appointment time. Caffeine will heighten sensitivity.

-Take 2 ibuprofen an hour before your appointment to help with discomfort and inflammation.

-Start exfoliating a few days before your appointment.

-Wear something comfortable to your appointment.

-Do not tan in a tanning bed for up to 3 days before your wax.

I have a special event/trip planned, when should I wax?

3 days before is recommended but if it’s your first time waxing it’s a good idea to wax more than once before a big day.

When should I get my spray tan?

Always spray tan after your wax, I recommend waiting 48 hours.

Can I get waxed during my period?

Yes. As long as you use a tampon it makes no difference for the esthetician. Sometimes during your cycle you can experience extra sensitivity.

Can I wax during pregnancy?

Yes! It’s perfectly safe!

Can men get a Brazilian wax?

No. This service is offered to women only.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes! TCU students receive 20% off of all services. Active military, veterans and military spouses also receive a 20% discount. Brazilian waxes are discounted $10 when you wax every 4 to 6 weeks. Purchasing waxing packages gives you 1 free service!

What age can children start waxing?

Kids 9 and over can have waxing done with a parent present. This excludes the Brazilian wax, you must be 18 and over for that service.
